Here is an excerpt from Play Me 1: Wild
Whales belong in the ocean, not in a casino. But in my experience, more often than not, that’s exactly where you find them. Cozied up to a poker table or a craps table or a roulette wheel, sucking down Lagavulin and hassling every pretty girl that walks by.
Then again, I live in Vegas and I work at the Atlantis, currently the hottest casino on the Strip. Where the hell else am I going to see a whale other than right here in my own backyard?
Tonight the place is crawling with them, rich men throwing around thousand dollar chips like confetti and tossing back thousands of dollars’ worth of free liquor the same way. I want to say that it’s an unusual occurrence, but the truth is, this is my life. Has been for a while now.
It’s a different view on this side of the casino from your typical Vegas experience, one filled with ten thousand dollar suits and ten million dollar bets. The air fairly crackles with the sound, the scent, the feel of money. Which translates into much higher tips than working the regular floor does, tips I desperately need. All I have to do to earn them is ignore the fact that the whales on this side of the velvet ropes have much grabbier hands. And an overdeveloped sense of entitlement.
“I need two fingers of Lagavulin, a Belvedere and cranberry, another Nolet’s Reserve and tonic and a shot of Patron Silver,” I tell Michael, tonight’s bartender, as I pick up a dirty martini and a couple of mojitos made with top shelf booze.
He nods, never breaking rhythm as he shakes a margarita in one hand and squirts Coke on top of rum in another.
And then I’m off again, teetering back toward the high roller tables in the four inch stilettos my boss insists all the cocktail waitresses wear. I don’t mind them so much—learning to walk in Louboutins and Manolos was pretty much a required course growing up in my house—but after seven hours straight on my feet, even my steel arches are beginning to whimper.
Which is probably why I’m not at my most patient when Whale Number One, a Japanese businessman who just flew in from Tokyo, rubs a suggestive hand over my ass and down my scantily clad thigh.
I turn around and shoot him a look, and he holds his hands up in a pretend gesture of surrender. “Can I get you anything else?” I ask him, keeping my voice sweet and my eyes steady. It’s my experience that guys like this have trouble keeping up the letch act when they’re looking straight into your eyes. It’s a lesson I learned from my mother years ago: rich men will only give you respect if you demand it.

Tracy Wolff collects books, English degrees and lipsticks and has been known to forget where—and sometimes who—she is when immersed in a great novel. At six she wrote her first short story—something with a rainbow and a prince—and at seven she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her local bookstore, so in desperation her mom started her on romance novels. And from the first page of the first book, Tracy knew she’d found her life-long love. Now an English professor at her local community college, she writes romances that run the gamut from contemporary to paranormal to erotic suspense.

Porter Marshall has nearly achieved his goal of becoming a Club Sin Master, but his new sub poses a much bigger challenge than he anticipated. Despite their mutual attraction and red-hot dungeon sessions, Kenzie Hart plays her own games. Her bratty, you-can’t-break-me attitude masks terrible personal hurt—pain that only the exquisite touch of a skilled Dom can release. But when Porter suggests taking their connection to the outside world, Kenzie denies him . . . which only makes him want her more. Kenzie can’t ignore the raw, fierce bond she has with Porter. But she can’t give in to his dangerous demands, either. Is the passion they share real, or is he using her to solidify his status at Club Sin? And yet, who else can she trust with the shattering secrets she holds within? As Porter expertly brings her to the point of no return, Kenzie surrenders her body—and, piece by piece, her heart.
STACEY KENNEDY is the USA Today bestselling author of the CLUB SIN series. Growing up, Stacey’s mind wandered the path less traveled and that path most often led to love. She has always broken rules and she continues to feed off emotion – staying true to her heart. Those traits are now the bones of her stories. She lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, who puts any of the heroes in her books to shame, and their two young children. If she’s not on mom duty or plugging away at a new story, you’ll find Stacey camping in the summer, hibernating in the winter and obsessing over Penny Dreadful, Game of Thrones and Sons of Anarchy.

4.5 Beautiful stars!
This book was beautiful. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I think about this story. Kit and Jessa are beautiful inside and out and their connection was beautiful. I totally fell in love with Kit. OMG! He is absolutely adorable. He is the perfect boyfriend. Don’t get me wrong he had his down time but for a completely understandable reason. I love a story with both POV’s, when done right, and this book did not disappoint.
Kit and Jessa’s brother Riley are home for one month before they have to report for duty in the marines for 12 months. All three of them have grown up together. Kit has had a crush on Jessa for quite awhile, but really noticed her on his last break. Jessa has had a crush on Kit pretty much since she met him as a child. But neither of them knows, and definitely not her very overprotective brother and father. Kit comes to her in the middle of the night and they sneak off together for the night. Everything changes from their first kiss, but they have to keep it secret. So, they have one romantic, adventurous, beautiful month before he has to leave for one year. He vows to come back to her and she vows to wait for him, but something tragic happens on his tour in Afghanistan that may change thinks forever.
This book was so emotional. It shows what happens when someone you love is in the armed services and comes back different or has PTSD. And, the sadness of watching them leave to go on tour in a dangerous country. These parts had me in tears. The writer really makes you feel that pain or at least get a glimpse of the pain someone in these situations may feel. But, this is just part of the book, the rest is happy, beautiful, and exciting. I really enjoyed this story! Kit has a special spot in my heart now. I wish he was real. You know when a book makes you feel that, it was awesome.

Roman starts off where Lucas ended, but this time the story is more focused on Chastity, Roman and Charlie, of course. We get a bigger glimpse in to the lives of all the brothers in this book. We also get to see a little about how Jess, Lucas and Dex are doing. I love all the characters in this series. They are all so different in their own way and it’s amazing how effortless the Author does this.
I was really excited about this book, because Roman is so mysterious and I love mysterious men. He is sexy as sin, a bad boy, in the military, with striking blue eyes, and he carries around a duffel bag full of guns! What more can a girl ask for in a bad boy?
Chastity was really interested in Charlie in the first book (Lucas), so when she comes across Roman on her way to the Hunter estate, and their chemistry is off the charts it’s surprising but totally hot. As much as I love Charlie, I was really rooting for Roman and Chastity. I love that Roman brings out the softer and sexually adventurous side to Chastity. Chastity is a tough girl and doesn’t settle for anything less than the best, but even knowing Roman will have to leave soon, she disregards her rules. And, Chastity brings out the sweeter caring side to Roman, which is unheard of. But, will he be able to give up his sordid lifestyle and break old bad habits for her?
Charlie is still interested in Chastity too and although he has his own issues, has all the qualities Chastity wants in a man. So, how will she handle these two gorgeous Hunter brothers?
This story was so hot, I loved Chastity and Romans bedroom games and I seriously wanted more. I was so upset at the ending though! There is a cliffy! Lucas didn’t have a cliffy, but my oh my, does this one have one. I am dying to find out what happens……
It’s a great book though!!

I am struggling a bit to write this review, because I am torn about how I feel about this book. I like parts of this book a lot and other parts not so much.
First, I will note the things I liked. I liked the characters. The storyline had potential to be great. The naughty parts between cousins was pretty hot in a taboo way, that I like. Garth the horse whisperer was mysterious and I wanted to know more. And, I love that the story was also about such beautiful creatures, the horse.
Now, what I didn’t like. The storyline was confusing at times. There was a lot of jumping around from past to present with too much detail. I could have done with a lot less detail. Also, I like mysterious characters but at some point I want to get to know them a little better than I felt I got to know Garth. He was confusing, as well. Don’t get me wrong, he was extremely hot, but definitely too confusing. And, I wish that it didn’t take Garth so long to do what I wanted him to.
This book is a very well written book about a young woman named Siobhan that wants to learn to be a better person for her horse. She goes to a course held by the very mysterious and handsome horse whisperer Garth. Before she even goes she has been totally intrigued by him from the videos she has seen him in. Not expecting him to notice her, much less take an interest, so when he does, she is utterly smitten by him. But, after being around him in person, she realizes he is more mysterious than she thought. And, his dominance is overwhelming.

This review took me a beat to write, because this book was totally unexpected. I felt so many emotions while reading it, frustration, anger, understanding, sadness, turned on, confusion, relief, the list goes on….. I seriously don’t think a book has made me feel that many emotions ever. Yes, it’s crazy!
Layana lives a very privileged life. Her parents have brought her up to be the perfect upper class women, destined to marry a very rich man, and be the perfect trophy wife. But, she has no interest in the people in her lifestyle. She awaits the day she turns 25, so she can get her trust fund and be free.
Brant is a billionaire genius but he wasn’t born into that lifestyle, he worked for it, and he worked hard. He built his first computer at age 12. He is a beautiful man with a secret past.
When they meet at a fundraiser they instantly click. They both don’t do relationships, but after one night that all changes. After time, Brants secrets start to cause trouble for them, so when Layana meets Lee, she can’t resist him.
Lee is the complete opposite of Brant. He is a landscaper. He’s passionate and rough around the edges.
Now, like I said you will feel many emotions. You will be angry with Layana at first, but keep reading! It’s worth the rollercoaster ride of emotions, because there is no cliffhanger!

This book was a pleasant surprise! I’m looking forward to the other Hunter Brothers stories.
This book is about Jess and Lucas mostly, but we get insight into the Hunter family, also. Jess is a 21 year old mother of an adorable five year old son, Dexter. She lives with her sister Chastity. Struggling to make ends meet. She fills in for her sister one night as a waitress for the catering business her sister works for. While wearing a bikini top and hot pants as her uniform, she literally runs into the most beautiful man she has ever seen and spills champagne all over his shirt. He has the most striking blue eyes and he captivates her on the spot. Later she finds out he is the new boss for the company she just started working at and things get complicated. Lucas is the oldest of the Hunter brothers and in charge of taking over the family business. He is rich, gorgeous, sexy, and untouchable.
After hiding behind his bathroom door in his office, one day, she over hears him tell a woman in his office he is going to spank her. This excites her and she can’t stop thinking about it. She starts fantasizing that he would do that to her and dreaming about him at night. She hasn’t been with a man since her son has been born, so she doesn’t have a lot of experience. Lucas Hunter on the other hand is a dominant and women throw themselves at him. But, he only has subs not girlfriends and usually no longer than a week or two. But, Jess has him changing his rules.
The storyline is awesome, I really fell in love with the characters. Not just Jess and Lucas, but the other characters in the story as well. The bond between sisters, Jess and Chastity, and of course little Dex was so adorable. Charlie one of the younger brothers of Lucas is definitely another hottie that we hear the most about.
The sex was hot and I really loved the connection between Lucas and Jess. There is some BDSM play. It was erotic and romantic and I love that. I especially loved the little POV of Lucas at the end. I will definitely read more from this Author! Roman the mysterious Hunter brother is next in the series….
